Who I am

Let me introduce myself. My name is Marc Fowler. I’m in my mid twenties and have lived in and around Woodbridge, Suffolk, England since 1994. In August 2009 I moved from Melton to Kesgrave, just east of Ipswich.

By now you’ll have worked out roughly what I do for a living. You can read more about that on the next page, What I do, but if you want to know more about me first, read on.

I am one of what was really the first generation to grow up around personal computers in the home. Some of my earliest memories are of playing extremely basic educational games on my father’s first computer. As a result, I became very used to computers and similar technologies from a very early age. I’ve become very good at using computers in a variety of ways, and am very successful when it comes to solving computer problems.

I am pleased to say though, that computers and technology are not all I’m about. Unlike some computer experts, I am a very sociable person with interests in many different areas. I go to St Michael's Church in Martlesham Heath, having previously attended St John’s Church in Woodbridge from 1999 to 2009. Early in 2007 I married the woman I fell in love with there.

The last few years have seen me campaigning to achieve Fairtrade Town Status for Woodbridge along with other local supporters of Fairtrade. I'm pleased to say we achieved our goal in February 2008. (See our Fairtrade For Woodbridge website for details)

I won't go any more, except to say that I’m told I am a very friendly man who people find easy to get on with.
